1,000 Days of Learning English. How a new language completely reshaped my world. 🧭✨

Today marks a profound milestone in my life: exactly 1,000 days since I started learning English! 🎉

Looking back to day one, the biggest surprise is that English has seamlessly woven itself into my daily ritual. It’s no longer an effort—it’s just a natural part of who I am, just like roasting my favorite coffee beans or going for my morning runs. 🏃‍♂️☕

Opening this door has completely changed my world:

🗺️ A Warmer, Closer World: Connecting with international guests at my property has become a source of pure joy. Exchanging contacts and staying in touch has turned distant countries on a map into “the warm place where my friend lives.” 🌱 Expanding Passions: English has breathed new life into my work. From hosting running tours for global travelers to sharing my passion for coffee craft, it has allowed my world to expand without borders. ✈️ The Next Chapter: This is just a checkpoint. My goal is to pass the Eiken Grade 2 exam before my birthday in November! And looking further ahead, my dream is to establish a dual-base lifestyle between Japan and overseas, becoming a bridge that connects people through genuine hospitality. 🇯🇵🤝🌐

A thousand days ago, a small choice changed my entire view of the world. I can’t wait to see what kind of horizon awaits me next.

【英語学習1000日目の節目に。言語がくれた「宿の新しいカタチ」】

こんにちは！Airbnbホストのタツヤです。 今日、僕の人生にとって一つの大きな節目を迎えました。英語の勉強を本格的に始めてから、ちょうど「1000日目」に到達したのです！

今では英語学習がすっかり日常の習慣になり、世界中のゲストと心を通わせる時間が日々の最高のエネルギーになっています。

この1000日の歩みは、ゲストの皆様へのおもてなしにも、新しいワクワクをたくさん吹き込んでくれています。

🏃‍♂️ 海外ゲスト向けのランニングアクティビティ
僕自身が日常的に続けているランニングを活かし、ゲストの皆様と一緒に街を走りながら、ローカルな魅力を英語でご案内するツアーをスタートしています。朝の澄んだ空気の中で一緒に汗を流す時間は、いつも大好評です！

☕ 自家焙煎コーヒーを通じた温かい交流
僕が愛してやまない珈琲豆の焙煎。チェックインの際や旅の合間に、自家焙煎のコーヒーを振る舞いながら、コーヒーのこだわりやそれぞれの国の文化について英語で語り合う時間が生まれています。

単に「泊まる場所」を提供するだけでなく、国境を越えて心と心が繋がるような、忘れられない思い出を一緒に作りたい。それが僕たちの目指すホスピタリティです。

今年はさらにパワーアップするために、11月の誕生日までに「英検2級」にもチャレンジします！

これからも世界中の素敵なゲストの皆様にお会いできるのを、心から楽しみにしています。日本へ、そして当館へのお越しをいつでもお待ちしております！
